History is Alive

Step back in time to feel what it's like to plow a field, plant a crop, bring the harvest in, mark the changes of seasons, and, like three generations of Dudley's, call a place "home."

event pavilionEvent Pavilion

There has been a wonderful addition to Dudley Farm which has been badly needed. Dudley Farm has been in great need of a venue which is capable of seating more than the 15 or so people that can be seated in the existing Visitor Center. Having such a venue would make it possible to hold lectures, classes and other activities where seating of 50 to 60 people would be necessary. We could host public functions such as weddings, family reunions, etc. which adds to the revenue coming into the park. The Friends of Dudley Farm has now purchased an event pavilion which will do just that. The pavilion has sides that can be let down in bad weather. We have already hosted several events such as the Dudley Farm Paintout. And coming on Jan 24, the first lecture will be given by Dr Barrow on the Bellamy Rd. This pavilion will greatly enhance what Dudley Farm can offer to the community.
