Registration for reservations for tours will be available online October 1, 2026.

Tours leave every 15 minutes starting at 6pm.  The last tour starts at 9pm.  There are only 10 travelers for each tour, so you must have a reservation.  We will have enough tour tickets for 260 travelers.

Actors, re-enactors will depict, through speech, dress and mannerisms, Sharecroppers, Travelers and Horse Traders. Family and neighbors visit and conduct business in the Store. In 1894, the farmhouse Front Porch was an active place to socialize, you will hear two men talk about the “bank panic”, other timely events, politics, etc. As you walk through the house, you witness busy parents discuss the family, their business and their plans.  In the Kitchen, you watch and listen as women finally get to relax and enjoy a lively talk after a hard day of work.  

The seven "stops" last approximately 5 minutes each. The entire tour lasts about 50 minutes. This is a walking tour so wear your walking shoes.  

Please arrive 15 min before the start of your tour.  If you are late for your tour, it will go without you.

You must be 14 yrs or older to register.

Sometimes weather will make it impossible for the tour to proceed.  We will provide refunds for those tours if requested.

This event is a fundraiser for the park.  All proceeds will go towards park needs including animal care and providing educational programs for the public.
